PAT BUSCH MOUNTAIN RESERVE : This campsite is situated in the Pat Busch Mountain Reserve, a lush paradise enclosed by mountains, and populated by a variety of flora and fauna (including over 100 bird species). It’s one of several sites hosted by AfriCamps, a glamping service provider that collaborates with family-run farms and reserves to establish luxury camping retreats comprised of locally produced tents and furniture.Good to know Other AfriCamps locations include AfriCamps Klein Karoo in Oudtshoorn, and AfriCamps Kam’Bati in Swellendam. Facilities The five luxury tents are more like boutique hotel rooms, with solid wooden floors, fully equipped kitchens and en-suite bathrooms. Each has two bedrooms, and can comfortably sleep five people (both bedrooms have a queen-size bed, and the second also has a single bunk bed). Each tent also has a private veranda overlooking the spectacular fynbos forests and mountain dams of the reserve. Amenities include wi-fi, air-conditioning, a fireplace, braai facilities, fridge, microwave, coffee press, kettle and toaster. Laundry and babysitting services are available.

 

 

Kam’Bati River Resort : is situated on an Overberg farm called Jubileeskraal, that is approximately 20km west of Swellendam Badenhorst Family. Jubileeskraal is a working farm where production of Barley, Weat, Canola and Corn takes place. Kam’Bati River Resort offers Grassed Campsites with electricity and clean ablutions, Self-Catering Cabins and luxury Africamp Tents. The resort is very safe, clean and child friendly. The perfect place. The Sonderendriver and Breede River meets on the property that is owned and managed by the to spend your next holiday or breakaway weekend!The Self-Catering Cabins cater for couples in our romantic 2 sleeper units, but also for families in our 4 sleeper 2 bedroom units. The cabins are situated on the edge of a beautiful dam which is a stone throw to the majestic breede river.AfriCamps Forest opened it’s doors in August 2016. Five luxury Glamping tents have been built in a beautiful and quiet patch of forest close to the river.The campsite are nestled peacefully under giant trees on the lush river banks with convenient ablution blocks. It is a wonderful family holiday and relaxation spot.

 

Orange Kloof Tented Camp is a picturesque tented camp in the ancient Afromontane forest of Orange Kloof on TMNP. Enjoy a hot shower, an open fire and the pristine Orange Kloof forest. The Orange Kloof Tented Camp is set amongst lush trees and shrubs in the Disa River Valley close to Hout Bay. The camp is accessible via Constantia Nek and has been constructed from alien trees.The camp is made up of 1 x 4-sleeper family tent, as well as 4 x 2-sleeper tents. The tents are equipped with electric lights, single beds and mattresses with sheets. The camp also has 2 ablution blocks, housing a set of showers in one and a set of toilets in the other. The showers have warm and cold running water and it is advised that clients bring bio-degradable soap only.The communal area is made up of a big kitchen equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, as well as a big dining table for indoor dining. The outdoor communal area comprises of a big braai area, a sundeck, as well as a dining table for outside dining. There is a small dam for swimming only.The camp runs on normal electricity and there are facilities to charge cameras in the kitchen area. There is no cellphone reception at Orange Kloof Tented Camp.

 

Smitswinkel Tented Camp situated just over the road from the entrance to Cape Point, lies in the shade of a weathered Flowering Gum plantation. The units at the camp are built using timber from the park itself, giving it a natural, authentic feel while still being luxurious and comfortable. Each unit accommodates two people, making it the perfect honeymoon or couple’s getaway. The units are self-catering, and are equipped with en-suite bathrooms and individual barbecue facilities. The camp’s location provides the ideal base from which to explore the wealth of attractions in the South Peninsula. Boulders Beach, home to the world-renowned colony of African Penguins, is just 15 minutes drive away. Cape Point is also located close by to the camp. Cycling trails and picnic sites provide adventurous and exciting options by which to explore the diverse natural environment of the park.
